Sengwer Indigenous Community Trust
The Sengwer are an indigenous group that live in the Embobut Forest in the Cherangany Hills in Western Kenya.
They are currently targets of human rights violations while living on their ancestral lands. This logo was designed to aid in campaigns to raise awareness of their situation and further support them through the struggle.
They had a lot of requirements for the logo itself! I was asked to feature their homes, the sun, cowrie shells, cattle, mountains and trees - all the elements that are extremely important to the Sengwer. It was an honour to embrace this challenge.
